We just had hardwood floors installed to replace original carpeting.When I first started checking our flooring companies, Jodie was the only one to answer the online question I submitted on their site. So right out of the gate I knew the BVF was very customer focused and attentive to details. Jodie was great at helping us pick the right style and explaining the differences in flooring choices.The installation went great - John and Johnny did a fantastic job and were very nice and professional.The final price for everything wasn't cheap, but we are extremely happy with the choices we made.

She was so patient with all my questions. Brent the “Measure guy” came out TWICE just so we could tweak the floor prep to fit my budget. John Yahr and Johnie the installers were professional and so efficient. They went “over and above” so I could have my flooring in by Christmas…I will for sure use Bayview Flooring for my next project.

They always cleaned up after themselves each day and very polite to my dog and kids (seeing how they can get in the way at times :) work was done efficiently and went above and beyond putting the closet doors back on which we greatly appreciated! When life gives you lemons . . . make lemonade! A storm causedwater damage to our home and forced us to seek new replacement flooring. We searched for a product that was beautiful as well as durable . . . and after shopping the Traverse City area, we stumbled into Bay View Flooring and Design Center. Maggie helped us to select two products that met our needs perfectly! John and Johnny were professional and talented craftsmen. They kept us in-the-loop as to timing and workeddiligently. Four days of removal, disposal, and replacement wentlike clock-work. The results are jaw-dropping . . . so beautiful! I highly recommend Bay View Flooring from start to finish.

We were in the market for vinyl floor planking. We stopped into Bay View and met with Cindy Mitchell. She helped us pick out a brand and wood style. Cindy was very helpful and pleasant.The estimator was over in less then a week and got us measured.A week later we got a call that our flooring was in and we scheduled an install. We were told it was a two day job. Luckily we got Kevin and James. They were extremely quick, neat and very social.Our experience with Bay View was top notch. 2 bedrooms carpet and a kitchen with mi basement trap door and looks and functions well. Trap door kit helped a lot. Much easier to get in. Floor looks good. I had Jason pick the floor and colors. Better than I could have done. The installers Donovan and Darrin Wix did a fine job. Pleasure to have them in my home. Very positive energy. They had some other good ideas as well. Friendly, professional, on time, and did a great job. Also, Cindy is outstanding! The only issue I saw was the cleanup wasn't satisfactory as the wood flooring team left saw dust and foot prints in it all over the floor from the entry into the home throughout their work paths that we had to clean up. We also found several fingerprint spots of wood flooring glue on our brand new custom Amish built heritage furniture but luckily we saw it quickly enough that it just rubbed right off with a paper towel so no permanent damage. Otherwise, the job itself looks great. And the our gym room flooring team did a great job as well. I don't think we could have found a better company and we will surely hire them again when we have the time to remove all the old carpeting throughout the 5,000sqft house and replace it with wood flooring.

My flooring became buckled after a leak in my bathroom. Kevin and James to the rescue! The same great duo who installed my flooring 4 years. They arrived on time, worked quickly, did an amazing job. It was a bit tricky as I only had a partial box left of a discontinued flooring. But they made it work. Friendly , nice guys. They remembered details about my life that I’d shared with them from 4 years ago! On the way out, they even helped me lift a very heavy bag of rocks into a wheelbarrow. Above and beyond..

Give Maggie a raise! After finding that our flooring was discontinued a few months back, I set out to call stores across the country (I’m in Colorado) to find any remains of this particular style. I called over 100 locations with no luck before I found Maggie at BayView flooring and design- she said she’d do some digging and get back to me. That same day she was pleased to inform me that she had tracked it down! She was great to work with, her communication was incredible and she saved us from having to re-floor the entire main level of our home! I’d give more stars if I could!

We had flooring installed in October of 2022 after working with Maggie and the team at Bay View. Maggie was very helpful and helped to find a great laminate at a significant discount for our project. Her quote came in $2k lower than another company in town. The actual install was subcontracted to Zen Flooring and Lawrence and Isiah did a great job, not only meeting all of my expectations but wrapping up work one day before scheduled. I’ve had installations completed in my home with two other companies in TC and my experience working with Bay View has been the best, by far. They went out of their way to save me money and to save time during installation. I’ll be returning my business here for our next project.

We have worked with Jean Risk on a number of projects and she just finished helping us with the flooring and tile work for a cottage renovation. Jean is amazing! Professional, and knowledgeable. She helped with selection, ordering and coordinating installation.The tile installer, Corey Martz ( shower walls and floor and fireplace tile) did a beautiful job. He is one of the best we have ever had on one of our projects.The LVT flooring turned out better than we could have imagined It really transformed the space. The installer, David Prince, was so helpful and came up with great solutions for some very tricky areas including steps. It looks fabulous.

She was a true professional- incredibly prompt, helpful, and patient as I slowly figured out what would work in our poorly lit space. She ordered samples for me that arrived quickly. Communication at all stages of the job was excellent. The crew that laid our carpeting were great as well. So friendly, polite, and careful. We had unexpected complications with our old tack strip, but they were great about the additional time and work needed to complete the job. Paul and Luke did a professional job and then some when they laid flooring in my house on 9/6/22. All joins are tight; all lines are straight. No floor squeaks; no loose spots. They solved a problem I didn't expect to be solved: some rooms already had floor strips; I didn't think it and the new strips in the remaining rooms could be made to line up. Luke and Paul lined up the flooring to make it look like it had all been laid down in the same job. Beyond that, they work smoothly and efficiently. They don't look rushed, yet they don't waste time. I imagine Bay View's other crews are just as professional. But next time I call Bay View, I'll ask for Paul and Luke.

We have a summer getaway in northern Michigan that needed new flooring badly. I contacted Bay View Flooring and started planning this project with Cindy. I had lots of questions and she had all the answers for me. The decision was made to do luxury vinyl throughout. Cindy worked with me to get the perfect color sending me some samples I thought may work. Also keeping in mind we close up for the winter the right type of vinyl had to be used. We had the carpeting replaced on a winding staircase. Paul S. and Lucas D. from Bay View did the job. They were fantastic to work with. It was not an easy task. They assured they had enough carpet to complete the job and had very little waste. in other words, they made sure they got the most out of the carpet available. And, they cleaned up before they left. You wouldn't have even know they had completed a major job on site. I would highly recommend these guys for any flooring project.

Bay View Flooring has an exceptional team, from sales and scheduling to installation. I wanted to work with the Costco program to get flooring, and Cindy Mitchell from sales was incredibly helpful and accommodating as I tried to find what I wanted. She ordered samples that weren't in house, made sure I was satisfied with the color, and was great at follow up. I cannot recommend her enough, she was both professional and fun to talk to.Next came scheduling. I was working with getting kitchen cabinets installed, then flooring, then moving with 2 old dogs that I didn't want to have to deal with construction. Jake from scheduling was incredibly understanding and called as soon as something opened up. I am eternally grateful to him that I can move with the dogs and the house will be ready for them.Finally, the installers Paul and Luke were hands down the BEST skilled trades people I have ever worked with. They were hard working, friendly, trustworthy and we felt comfortable packing the other house while they worked at the new house. Maggie was our salesperson and she helped us find the pattern of carpeting that we had envisioned for our vacation rental condo in Bellaire. We wanted a low nap, commercial Barber on a 12’ roll, that would be easy to vacuum and keep clean with the multiple number of guests that use our condo. Maggie was able to help us find the style of. Berber carpet as well as the color and pattern to match our paint color and our furniture. I felt like she was really working for us more so than for her own business! Then came the scheduling and tile work. Wow. Fast, courteous and knowledgeable service. How often do you see that anymore? Tom installed our tile work with the thoughtfulness of an artist. He really has a great eye and began by considering each piece and how it would effect the overall pattern. Amazing. And ladies he’s also very neat! Someone called it Wow! I call it perfection. It looks incredible. We are happier than happy with what they’ve done for us. We worked with Cindy to find the perfect flooring for our new build. We interacted with Cindy in Sales, Jake in Scheduling and Kevin and James who installed our beautiful carpet and hardwood flooring. Cindy was responsive in every interaction. Jake, his delivery and installation teams are super busy, but always kept us informed. It was nice to meet James and Kevin; they also do terrific work. Matt, a TBA student, was conscientious and professional while acting as their helper. Our experience with Bay View was terrific.

Love Bayview Flooring! Maggie was very helpful and patient as we decided which brand and style of flooring would be best for our basement; she worked up quotes for a couple brands. Paul and Luke did a fantastic job installing our LVT! They did a wonderful job making sure the pattern/variations blended well. They were here two and a half days and at the end of each day they cleaned up after themselves and took all the cardboard and trash created by the job. We are totally satisfied!

Paul and Luke installed new carpet in our son’s room this morning. They were fast and efficient. Super friendly. Spent time to answer all of my son’s questions (there were a ton) and made him feel like he was part of the team and not an interruption. Also, the floor looks great and clean up was great too! Highly recommend them and will request them again when we replace the carpet in the other bedrooms this fall. Thanks for the great work!
